Look of the Day: The Lady In Red

Another day, another slay! Yes guys, this is another late look from my birthday weekend. It's tradition for me to upload bday shoots late, but that's just fine like Mary J. Blige. On a vintage shopping adventure, I found this spicy....I mean amazing...I'm talkin' 'bout sexy red two piece suit.

A double breasted, v-neck line, shoulder padded blazer with sheer sleeves and matching sheer pants. Divinity on a thousand. Seeing that it was my birthday, I had to go all the way out for this stunning look. A classic all red theme sufficed with this 80's MainFrame suit. Grabbed my super vintage Andre Originals fox fur stole (I believe it's from the 1960's) and my favorite shoes - my Ellie marabou fur slippers, made for trotting around in house, but a fashionista like me slays wherever.

I purchased a cute bralette off Amazon as a crop top and red booty shorts to go under the sheer pants. Seeing that the ensemble is such a stand out piece, I did a pretty simple-but-not-so-simple makeup look with a classic red lip, abstract eye makeup, and a few face jewels. To say this is one of my favorite looks is an understatement!

  1. You are straight killin it in the look! I love the all red. It happens to be my favorite color, it just doesn't look that good on me.

  4. This is well put together. I really like how the gold/beige pops off of the red. Great color combination.

  5. I LOVE your looks so much! The bold red--the femininity woven into the suit-look! It's bright, it's fun, and it's badass, all in one.
