Product Review: Maple Holistics Argan Oil Shampoo

TKS is kicking November off with more natural beauty goodness! Last month, Maple Holistics sent me a bottle of their Tea Tree Oil Shampoo and you can check out the review here. The company sent a bottle of their Argan Oil Shampoo and I used it for my wash day this week.

While the Tea Tree Oil Shampoo has a slight tea tree oil smell, the Argan Oil Shampoo is living loud and in color! I'm entirely familiar with argan oil since it's not one of the oils I regularly utilize in my hair and skin routines, but the scent is on point. I smell a great mixture of vanilla and peach kernel oil as stated in the ingredients list. Similar to their Tea Tree Oil, Maple Holistics has also added in an abundance of natural compounds derived from coconut oils. I would suggest that Maple Holistics begins adding in the entire ingredients list on their website so customers have full knowledge of what's in the shampoo besides the core ingredients like Argan Oil and Peach Kernel Oil.

I followed the wash up with a long overdue protein treatment with the ApHogee Intensive Two Minute Keratin Reconstructor. Afterwards, I deep conditioned with Eden Bodyworks' Jojoba Monoi Deep Conditioner and performed the L.C.O. treatment with the Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave In/Detangler, Curls Blueberry Bliss Twist N Shout Cream, and Shea Moisture's Monoi Oil. After stretching my hair out with the banding method, my hair felt soft and moisturized, I feel even softer this time in comparison to washing with the Tea Tree Oil. Honestly, I feel I enjoyed this shampoo more than the Tea Tree Oil Shampoo and I have no complaints!
