Reunited And It Feels So Good: Cast of 90s Show Family Matters Reunites In An Exclusive Photo Shoot

Ahhh the joys of growing up in the 1990's! It's been almost twenty years since the last episode of the 9 year running television show Family Matters. This was one of the best and most underrated Black television shows of the 1990's and I definitely remember watching it as a shorty. Of course my favorite character was Steve "Got Any Cheese" Urkel.

The cast got together with Entertainment Weekly for an exclusive photoshoot reuniting the cast. Kellie Shanygne Williams (Laura Winslow), Darius McCrary (Eddie Winslow), Jo Marie Payton (Hariette Winslow), Reginald VelJohnson (Carl Winslow), Jaleel White (Steve Urkel), Shawn Harrison (Waldo Faldo), Telma Hopkins (Rachel Crawford), and Bryton James (Richie Crawford) came together to give old fans of the show all types of nostalgic feels. The late Rosetta LeNoire who played Mother Winslow passed away in 2002 and the cast had a photo of her in loving memory. Take a look at their shoot:

The cast also stated that they're down for a reboot of the show too. Shows like Full House (rebooted into Fuller House) and Will & Grace have been rebooted and Living Single was in talks of being revived. This seems to be the era for nostalgia, so maybe a Family Matters 2.0 could happen.

Are you down for a Family Matters reboot? What other shows would you like to see rebooted?
