"Death Row Chronicles" Series Coming to BET in 2018

The late rapper Tupac Shakur's "All Eyez On Me" biopic is coming to a theater near you this summer on June 16, 2017. So what better time to follow the hype of the film (and 2015's "Straight Outta Compton" movie and Michel'le's 2016 Lifetime biopic) by releasing a 6-part series on the notorious 1990's Death Row Records label than now? BET announced that the "Death Row Chronicles" documentary series will tell the tale of the rise and fall of the renowned hip-hop record label. Billboard states that the six hour long documentary will be full of messy hip-hop drama and crime mysteries.

The series will of course be featuring some of your favorite, iconic West Coast hip-hop figureheads like 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and none other than the Secretary of the Illuminati himself Suge "Run Em Over" Knight.

The series is set to be released in the summer of 2018 and is to be produced by Entertainment One and Creature films according to XXL Magazine. Although this isn't a traditional biopic and will be a documentary series, BET had a lot of success with the "New Edition Story" so this should be a treat and I most certainly will be watching and reviewing. I'm sure there will be a lot of eye openers and shockers that will be revealed and I'm looking forward to it. I leave you all with these inspirational quotes from Suge to get you through the week:
