It's About Time: Grace Jones Biopic Releasing This Year

I've always felt Grace Jones doesn't get the credit she deserves being one of the ringleaders of the "edgy girl movement". She's been a source of inspiration to artists like Madonna, Lil' Kim, Lady Gaga, and Rihanna. Controversial, a boundary-pusher, bold, and a trendsetter. While many people know her from the iconic 1990's movie "Boomerang", the Jamaican born model and singer is a slept on legend and has been a major muse for your faves from the 1980's to the present. She's walked runways, she's created amazing songs, and now her life will be on film.

According to OkayPlayer, the title of the film is "Grace Jones- The Musical of My Life" and will be featured by BBC Films. We're still waiting on more details for the casting. The article also stated that this film has been in production mode since 2005. While that's a very long time, I say the longer the better. Grace Jones has an amazing legacy and we don't want or need any Wendy Williams and "Lifetime" productions going on. I'm looking forward to seeing this film.
